2013 Swagger Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2013 Swagger Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of clone 685 from the Red Head Vineyard and clones 4 and 7 from the Eagle Summit Vineyard. The color is the first indication of what this wine has to offer; the deep, rich, opaque purple/black is stunning in the glass. Across the board, our 13s are intense, full bodied, multi-dimensional wines. The Swagger has well-integrated tannins balanced by intense black fruit qualities, and a lingering finish. This wine is everything that we strive for in our cabernets – elegant, structured, complex. Time will serve the 13s well and, even then, a few hours in the decanter will be judicious. 200 cases produced, 14.6% alcohol, 80% new French oak
